Kristin J. Gurholt, O.D.
Dr. Gurholt attended Bismarck State College and the University of North Dakota majoring in chemistry and mathematics. She earned her B.S. in Vision Science and Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University, Oregon. She is licensed and certified in the use of diagnostic and therapeutic drugs and certified by the International Association of Boards of Examiners in Optometry in the treatment and management of ocular disease. She is a member of the American and Colorado Optometric Associations.
She completed an internship at The Marshfield Clinic in central Wisconsin. At this large multi-disciplinary clinic, she gained advanced training in ocular disease and contact lenses. Dr. Gurholt was active in Amigoes, a volunteer student group that provides eye care to adults and children in need. She was awarded the Alcon Excellence in Primary Eyecare in 1997.
Dr. Gurholt practiced in Aloha, Oregon, during her first year of licensure. She moved to Colorado in 1998, and became an associate of Boulder Vision Center. Dr. Gurholt purchased the practice in 2001. She believes in treating patients' current needs while preventing future problems through education. She genuinely cares about her patient's concerns.
